ATP/WTA tour

After 4 straight losses, finally Rohan Bopanna had a very good run along with Mathew Ebden to the final of ABN Amro Open at Rotterdam, Netherland where they lost a close match in the final against third seeds.

Yuki and Saketh played in Delray Beach ATP 250 but had a bad loss in first round.

ATP Challenger Tour

Sumit Nagal had the best run in singles among Indian players at Chennai Challenger coming thru qualfiers.

Arjun Kadhe along with his Jay Clarke of GBR won the doubles title.

ITF Tour

Womens ITF circuit continued this week with another W15 in Jhajjar.

This week was marked by surprising run by 19 year old Sandeepti Singh Rao who was playing only her third ITF tournament. Sandeepti qualified for the main draw beating qualies top seed on the way and then in main draw upset the top seed from Latvia in second round, fifth seed Shrivalli Rashmika Bhamidpatti in QF and third seed and last week champion from Serbia in the SF.

Finally, her 7 match winning streak was broken in the final by fourth seeded Zeel Desai in 3 sets.

Zeel had beaten second seeded Vaidehi Chadhari in the SF. This was her second ITF title. The first one was back in 2017.\

In other news, Prarthana Thombre reached doubles in W60 in Germany.

On mens tour, SD Prajwal Dev reached singles QF and won the doubles title along with Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta.
