India’s top-seeded men’s doubles pair Anirudh Chandrasekar and Sriram Balaji advanced to the quarterfinals with a 6–2, 6–1 win over Nepal’s Abhishek Bastola and Pradip Khadka.
They will next face China’s Jiang Fumin and Zhang Tianhui, who defeated the eighth-seeded Thai pair of Pawit Sornlaksup and Wishaya Trongcharoenchai in the second round.

A victory would take Chandrasekar and Balaji into the semifinals and assure them of an Asian Games medal, with both losing semifinalists receiving bronze.
