Karan Singh has produced a remarkable fortnight in Bali, winning back-to-back M15 singles titles without dropping a set across either tournament
The 23-year-old Indian completed his second consecutive title-winning week on Sunday, defeating Alexander Chang of the USA (ATP 1296) 7-6(5), 7-5 in the final.
The victory marks Singh’s fifth career professional singles title and his third singles title of the 2026 season.
It also completes an extraordinary two-week run in Bali during which Singh went 10-0 in matches and 20-0 in sets.
Singh’s first title came a week earlier, when the fourth seed defeated fifth seed Isaac Becroft of New Zealand 7-5, 7-6(3) in the M15 Bali final. That victory gave him his fourth career singles title and his second singles title of the season.
Returning for another week in Bali, Singh continued his dominant run.
Seeded fifth, he opened his campaign with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Udit Kamboj before beating Rafalentino Ali Da Costa 6-0, 6-3 in the second round. In the quarter-finals, he defeated Australia’s Hayden Jones 7-5, 6-1.
The semi-final produced an all-Indian showdown, with Singh facing fourth seed Digvijay Pratap Singh. Karan prevailed 6-4, 7-6(2) to book his place in a second consecutive Bali final.
Standing between him and another title was Chang, who had also reached the final after a strong run through the draw.
Singh once again held his nerve when it mattered. After edging a closely contested opening set in the tiebreak, he took the second 7-5 to complete another straight-sets victory and seal the title.
The numbers tell the story of Singh’s remarkable fortnight: 10 matches, 10 wins, 20 sets won and zero sets dropped.
Having already won the previous week’s final in two tight sets, Singh produced another composed performance when faced with a championship match that offered little room for error.
The back-to-back titles take Singh to five career professional singles titles, with three of those coming during the 2026 season.
At just 23, Singh has now turned an impressive two-week stretch into one of the strongest runs of his career — and done it with remarkable consistency from the opening match of the first tournament to the final point of the second.
