The top seed Erhard Mathys(FRA) crashed out of the ITF M25, Bhopal, thanks to the vicious barrage single handed backhand shots by Luca Castelnuovo of Switzerland. Though he had easily won the first set, Erhard had no answer to the furry of attacking shots by Luca.

Thus all top four seeds have been eliminated by the second round of the tournament.

Sidharth Rawat (IND), SD Prajwal Dev(IND) and Fomin Sergey (UZB) continued their winning streak to move to quarter finals by steam rolling their opponents. Others to join them are fifth seed sixth seed Eric Vanshelboim (UKR), eighth seed Egor Agafovonov (RUS), Alastair Gray (GBR) and Maxim Zukhov.

Dev Javia(IND) fought hard, but in vain against Eric Vanshelboim(UKR) to lose out to the sixth seed 3-6,6-7 in straight sets.

The line up for the singles quarterfinals will have players from six nations two each from India and Russia and one each from Ukraine, Switzerland, GBR and Uzbekistan.
