After a promising showing in Marrakech, Indian No.1 Sumit Nagal will play in the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters Qualifying tournament on clay starting Saturday, 6th April. The tournament is one of the 9 events in the prestigious ATP Masters 1000 series, which is just one level below the Grand Slams.

The Monte Carlo Country Club is one of the most picturesque venues
Nagal was initially way down in the alternates list, but made the draw after several pullouts due to players still competing in this week’s 250 events in Marrakech, Estoril, and Houston.
Nagal has competed in Monte Carlo once before in 2021, losing in the first round of qualifying to Italian Stefano Travaglia in straight sets.
