The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) is hosting the prestigious M15 Chandigarh ITF World Tour Tennis Men’s Tournament, offering a prize money of US$15,000, at its Tennis Stadium in Sector-10, Chandigarh from March 18 to 24, 2024.

In the Men’s singles of the tournament, 3rd seed Sasikumar Mukund (IND) and 4th seed Nam Hoang Ly (VIE) have advanced to the semifinals. Mukund secured his spot by defeating Bang Shuo Yin (TPE) in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3, showcasing his dominant and aggressive gameplay throughout the match.

Meanwhile, Nam Hoang Ly (VIE) secured his place in the semifinals by defeating Thanapet Chanta (THA) with a score of 6-3, 6-3. In another intense match, top seed Khumoyun Sultanov (UZB) emerged victorious against 9th seed Siddharth Vishwakarma (IND) in straight sets with a score of 7-6(4), 6-4. Sultanov displayed his experience and aggressive baseline game to clinch the win.

In a thrilling encounter, 2nd seed Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND) managed to overcome Qualifier Chirag Duhan (IND) in a three-set marathon match with a score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Moving on to the Men’s doubles, 3rd seed Siddhant Banthia (IND) and Karan Singh (IND) have secured a spot in the finals. They will face off against Yunseok Jang (KOR) and Woobin Shin (KOR) in what promises to be an exciting match tomorrow.

The singles semifinals and doubles finals will take place on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at the CLTA Tennis Stadium in Sector 10, Chandigarh, starting from 10:00 A.M. onwards.

1. Khumoyun Sultanov (UZB) [1] defeated Siddharth Vishwakarma (IND) [9] with a score of 7-6(4), 6-4.
2. Sasikumar Mukund (IND) [3] defeated Bang Shuo Yin (TPE) with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
3. Nam Hoang Ly (VIE) [4] defeated Thanapet Chanta (THA) with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
4. Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND) [2] defeated Chirag Duhan (IND) (Q) in a thrilling match with a score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Men’s Doubles Semifinals results:

1. Yunseok Jang (KOR) / Woobin Shin (KOR) defeated Thanapet Chanta (THA) / Kazuma Kawachi (JPN) with a score of 6-2, 7-6(4).
2. Siddhant Banthia (IND) / Karan Singh (IND) [3] defeated Manish Sureshkumar (IND) / Vishnu Vardhan (IND) [2] with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
