With the team’s event concluded on Day 3, our interest now shifts to the other events including singles and doubles in both the categories. Day 4 at the Sabarmati Riverfront, V4, tennis courts will feature opening rounds from these events.
Men’s singles event
Arjun Kadhe of Maharashtra is seeded first and Manish Sureshkumar of Tamil Nadu is seeded second. SD Prajwal and Karan Singh are the other seeded players in the draw. Abhinav Sanjeev and Neeraj Yashpaul could also prove as underdogs.

Women’s singles event
Ankita Raina is the top seed player in singles followed by Rutuja Bhosale, Zeel Desai and Sharmada Balu as the other seeded players. With some young talent including Aarthi Muniyan and Soha Sadiq the draw is wide open.

Men’s doubles event
With QF already played yesterday, Karnataka’s pair of SD Prajwal Dev and Adil Kalyanpur are favourites for the event. Tamil Nadu’s Manish Sureshkumar with Bharath Kumaran also looks good as they defeated 2nd seed Karan Singh and Jagmeet Singh of Haryana in the QF.

Women’s Doubles Event
In a replay of team’s event final match Gujarat pair of Ankita Raina and Vaidehi Choudhari will face Maharashtra’s Rutuja Bhosale and Vaishnavi Adkar for a place in the finals. In the other SF, 2nd seed Sharmada and Soha will face Haryana’s pair of Sandeepti and Ritu.

Mixed Doubles Event
Arjun Kadhe and Rutuja Bhosale of Maharashtra are the top seeds and favourites for the Gold medal in mixed doubles event. 2nd seed Sharmada Balu and SD Prajwal of Karnataka will also look to grab the top podium spot. Tamil Nadu also holds a strong pair with Sai Samhitha and Manish Sureshkumar.
