India No.1 Ramkumar Ramanathan might not have had the best of seasons so far on the singles tour, but he came out all guns blazing against 9th seeded Yannick Hanfmann from Germany.
This is an amazing win considering the fact that clay is Ramkumar’s least preferred surface. Ramkumar has great opportunity to make the final qualifying round, as he plays 595th ranked wildcard Sean Cuenin from France. The 18 year old has been in the Top 10 of the ITF Junior Rankings though.
