From Wimbledon 14&U History to the Professional Circuit
Monday’s milestone in Sumter caps a landmark 2026 season for Manchala, who trains in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina at the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy under coach Derek Porter and travels on tour with the support of her father Ravi Manchala and older brother Ricky Manchala. In July 2026 at the All England Club, she went 3-0 in round-robin play without dropping a set, swept Lyubov Pronenko 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals, and defeated Ukraine’s Mariia Kocherzhenko 7-5, 2-6, [10-8] in the championship match to become the 1st American player ever to win the Wimbledon Girls’ 14&U Singles title. Following this week’s appearance in Sumter, she is also slated to compete next week (November 2–8, 2026) at her hometown ITF W15 Hilton Head Island event.
