Dhakshineswar Suresh Falls to Soonwoo Kwon as South Korea Take Early Davis Cup Lead

🇮🇳 Dhakshineswar Suresh put up a valiant fight but fell to former World No. 52 🇰🇷 Soonwoo Kwon in the opening rubber of India’s Davis Cup tie against South Korea.

DK started strongly, taking the first set 6-3, but Kwon fought back to win the next two sets 6-3, 6-4 and seal a hard-fought victory on home soil.

The defeat marks the first loss of DK Suresh’s Davis Cup career, after he had previously won three singles rubbers and one doubles rubber.
