The day was marked by the resilience of the seeded players who had to overcome early deficits:
- Fifth seed Praneel Sharma (IND) [5] showed great resolve, dropping the first set to Om Patel before rallying to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
- Sixth seed Vraj Gohil (IND) [6] mirrored that comeback, losing the opening set to local wild card Channamallikarjuna Yale before securing his quarterfinal berth, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
