Bopanna/Pavlasek Exit Roland Garros in Valiant Third-Round Effort

Paris, France – June 1, 2025 – The unseeded duo of Rohan Bopanna (India) and Adam Pavlasek (Czech Republic) concluded their Roland Garros campaign today, falling to the No. 2 seeds, Harri Heliovaara (Finland) and Henry Patten (Great Britain), in a hard-fought third-round match.

Bopanna and Pavlasek battled valiantly on Court Simonne-Mathieu but ultimately succumbed to the formidable second seeds with a final score of 2-6, 6-7(5). After dropping the first set, the Indo-Czech pair elevated their game in the second, pushing Heliovaara and Patten to a tie-break. Despite a strong effort and a closely contested tie-break, they were unable to secure the set, bringing their tournament run to an end.

While disappointed with the loss, Bopanna and Pavlasek can take pride in their performance, having reached the third round of the clay-court Grand Slam in a competitive field.
