Yuki Bhambri Attains Career High ATP Doubles Ranking of 43

Indian tennis star Yuki Bhambri has achieved a career-high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 43, rising 5 spots after a 3rd round showing at the recently concluded US Open. 32 year old Bhambri is the India No.2 behind 44 year old Rohan Bopanna, who has slipped to the 6th spot.

Bhambri has had an impressive 2024 season alongside French partner Albano Olivetti. The pair secured two ATP 250 titles and reached one final, all on outdoor clay courts.

Bhambri and Olivetti triumphed at the Gstaad and Munich ATP 250 tournaments, marking their dominance on the clay. They also made a strong run to the final in Lyon, further cementing their partnership as a formidable doubles team this season.

Bhambri also reached the third round of the US Open for the first time in his doubles career, where he and Olivetti fell to World No. 1 duo Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos. This performance equals Bhambri’s best-ever Grand Slam result, matching his 2014 third-round finish at the Australian Open in singles.

Bhambri will next play in the ATP 250 event in Chengdu, China, starting in the week of 16th September.
