The internet went crazy as images of Sachin Tendulkar and Roger Federer together at Wimbledon surfaced. In an interview with Wimbledon, the Master Blaster, as he is affectionately called, Sachin said, “A tennis player I would love to bat with has to be Roger. He has cricketing connections; his mother is from South Africa. In fact, when we sat together, we discussed not just tennis, but also a lot of cricket.”
“Cricketers who would make good doubles partners in tennis definitely would be Warney (Shane Warne) and Yuvraj Singh. Unfortunately, we lost Warney a couple of years ago, but I’ve played tennis with him in London,” said Sachin.
While Sachin is a regular attendee at Wimbledon over the years, Virat Kohli is also known to frequent The Championships. It remains to be seen if Kohli will attend the event this year or not!
