Maya Iyengar, an Indian origin tennis player who is ranked 83 in the junior world tennis rankings, reached her maiden pro tour final in just her 2nd tourney at the International Tennis Federation W15 tourney in San Diego, California last week.

Her results are below:

Round 1 defeated Teja Tirunelveli of India by 6-2 6-4 scoreline
Round 2 defeated Isabella Chhiv of USA by 2-6 6-3 6-0 scoreline
Quarters defeated Julieta Pareja of USA by 6-7 6-2 7-5 scoreline
Semis defeated Carolyn Campana of USA by 6-3 2-6 6-1 scoreline
Finals lost to Sara Daavettila of USA by 0-6 0-6 scoreline

Maya had reached the ITF Juniors J200 singles final in Prato, Italy on the fiercely competitive European Clay Circuit last month.
