Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden’s impressive run at Roland Garros came to an end as they were defeated by the in-form Italian duo of Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli. The semi-final clash ended with a score of 5-7, 6-2, 2-6 in favor of the Italians, in a match that was a rematch of the Australian Open final from earlier this year.

Physical Issue for Ebden
Ebden had to take a medical time-out, which seemed to affect his physical performance in the contest. The issue seemed to be around the groin area, however this cannot confirmed at this moment.

Despite the loss, this marks Bopanna and Ebden’s fourth consecutive Grand Slam semi-final appearance, showcasing their consistent performance at the highest level of the sport.
