Bopanna/Ebden enter Miami semi-finals after big comeback win

They beat alternates Smith/Verbeek in the quarter-finals

Top seeds Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden produced a scintillating comeback win at the ATP Miami Masters 1000 event to secure their place in the semi-final. They beat the red hot alternates John-Patrick Smith and Sam Verbeek 3-6 7-6(4) 10-7.

They will take on the winner of the match between 4th seeds Granollers/Zeballos and Glasspool/Rojer in the semi-finals, which is to be played on Wednesday. A win in the semi-final will ensure Bopanna is World No.1 again on Monday.

Rajeev Ram crashes out

Meanwhile, 3rd seeds Rajeev Ram (USA) / Joe Salisbury (GBR) lost in a thrilling match against 7th seeds Kevin Krawietz (GER) and Tim Puetz (GBR), 3-6 7-6(5) 7-10.
