22 year old Shrivalli Bhamidipaty lost to WTA #211 and 2nd seeded Dalila Jakupovic 3-6 2-6 in the final of the ITF W35 event in Indore. It was a tale of missed opportunities in the final for Bhamidipaty, as she was able to convert just 1 of her 9 break point chances. On the other hand, Jakupovic converted 5 out of 6 of her break point chances.

However, it was a great week for Bhamidipaty, as she beat the 1st, 5th, and 7th seeds along the way. She also won the doubles title with her good friend Vaidehi Chaudhari. Bhamidipaty will rise to a career high WTA ranking of around 428 in the new rankings on 25th March.
