An important international tennis tournament, M15 Chandigarh ITF World Tour Tennis Men’s (US$-15K prize money Tournament is being conducted by Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) in its Tennis Stadium, Sector-10, Chandigarh from March 18 to 24, 2024. The Qualifying matches for this event will be played on 17th to 19th March, 2024 in CLTA. Highly ranked players from 12 to 15 countries including India are participating in this prestigious tournament. These countries are Australia; Bulgaria; France; Japan; Korea; Malaysia; Taipei; Thailand; USA; Uzbekistan; Vietnam and India.
CLTA conducts the highest level of national as well as international tournaments in India, as part of its policy for development of tennis among young players. The forthcoming tournament is a great opportunity for young players in the country, especially the trainees in CLTA’s Junior Development Programme, to show their mettle against world class competition.
The main draw consists of 32 players, of which 20 secure their entry as per their ITF ranking, 8 from among the qualifiers in the qualifying matches and 4 would be given wild cards.
All matches will be played on CLTA’s synthetic courts from 9:30 A.M. onwards. The singles Qualifying 1st round matches will be played on Sunday the 17th March, 2024 at CLTA Tennis Stadium, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The Main Draw matches will be played from March 19 to 24, 2024.
