Shrivalli Bhamidipaty was hospitalized all night leading up to the final. In spite of that, she put in a strong performance in the final before losing to Dalila Jakupovic at the ITF W35 in Indore.

The finals did not go the way as we were thinking. Reason: our Indian player was hospitalized last evening and she was in hospital all night. I must congratulate Shrivalli that despite being totally unwell, she was on the
courts this morning and showed true sportsmanship.India has very high hopes from her. She is going to lead the Indian team to the Billie Jean King Cup which will be conducted in China in the April 1st week.
