Australian Open
In the first grand slam of the year, Sumit Nagal had a terrific run to make the main draw. This will be his second Australian open main draw after 2021 when he made it in as a wild card and overall fourth grand slam main draw appearance.
Ankita Raina also got one good upset win in Q1 over a higher ranked player whom she lost to at Wimbledon qualifying but she lost in Q2 against a talented 17 year old.

ATP Tour
Rohan Bopanna and Mathew Ebden made it to the final of the first ATP tournament of the year at Adelaide before again losing in the final against Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury.

Yuki with his partner and pair of Vijay Sunder Prashanth / Anirudh Chandrashekhar played in Auckland ATP but lost in first round against higher ranked teams.

ATP Challenger Tour
Ramkumar Ramanathan made it thru the singles qualifying draw at a challenger in Thailand but lost against in-form Valentin Vacharot who won back to back titles in Thailand in last 2 weeks.
In doubles pairs of Ramkumar /Saketh and Niki Poonacha/Rithvik Choudary Bolipalli lost in QF.
In a Portugal challenger, Arjun Kadhe made it to the final with his British partner. With that run, Arjun will make it top 100 in ATP doubles rankings next week.

ITF Tour
On mens ITF tour, 3 weeks of M25 series began in Mandya, Karnataka this week.
We had only 1 seed in the main draw, 4th seeded Sasi kumar Mukund and he got upset in the second round. However, 20 year old Karan Singh had an excellent run to the semi finals with an upset of 7th seeded Taiwanese in second round and top seed from South Africa in quarter final. He lost in the SF in straight sets against Jelle Sells of Netherland.
Another Indians, Siddharth Vishwakarma upset fifth seeded Ly Nam from Vietnam in the QF. But, he lost in the SF in 3 sets against third seed and eventual champion from Israel.
Manish Sureshkumar and Parikshit Somani won the doubles title.
