ATP Challenger Tour

Sumit Nagal was back on the challenger tour this week and had his best week on indoor hard courts by reaching the final beating quote a few successful hard courters on the way before losing to Frenchman Contantin Moutet in the final of big Helsinki Challenger. Before this week, Sumit had only played 3 weeks on indoor hard courts and won just 1 round.

With that Sumit moves on inside top 150 and is now ranked #141 in the ATP rankings getting close to being seeded for Australian open qualifying.

Pair of Sriram Balaji with German Andre Begemann won their third challenger title in 4 weeks when they won the challenger title in same challenger and they beat new all Indian pairing of Vijay Sunder Prashanth and Jeevan Neduncheziyan. This is after a long time 4 Indians were in singles and doubles finals at a big challenger out of India in particular.
