1002nd ranked Siddharth Vishwakarma, playing in his home state of Uttar Pradesh, defeated ATP #504 Arthur Weber 🇫🇷 6-0 6-0 in just 38 minutes to make QF at ITF M25 Lucknow Futures.

The Futures tournament is being held at the newly built tennis courts at the Ekana Sports Stadium facility. Navneet Sehgal, president, Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association said, “Uttar Pradesh is leading the way when it comes to sports in the country. This tournament will give an opportunity to Indian players to earn valuable prize money and ATP points. We are elated that previous year’s doubles winners Yuki Bhambri and Saketh Myneni who formed their team in UP, are now in the top 75 on the ATP rankings this year. Due to Covid-19 we had a gap of a year but we are now committed to organising many more men’s, women’s, and junior events across the state in order to benefit our players.”
