Yuki Bhambri returned to play singles this week in a surprise when he turned up at qualifying in a challenger in Spain. He won a tricky final qualifying round against Australian Omae Jessica who had won 4 futures titles this year and then upset former top 40 player Andrey Kuznetsov in first round. However, he withdrew from his second round singles match as apperenetly he is not yet ready to play 2 matches on same day and he evidently prioritises doubles now where he had to play a match later in the day.

In doubles, Yuki and Saketh and Arjun Kadhe with his partner reached semi finals before losing there.
Also in Colombia, top seeds Jeevan and Balaji lost in semi finals and in same challenger, Mukund lost in final qualifying round after being in a winning position.
