Indian women put up a decent fight against a strong Latvian team in the BJKC cup play-offs this weekend in Jurmala, Latvia on indoor hard courts. Ankita put a big fight against former French open champion Jelena Ostapenko and lost in a close third set. Both Karman and Ankita were too competitive at least in 1 set against top 50 Latvian player Sevastova but lost in straight set.

Rutuja Bhosale and Zeel Desai salvaged something in dead rubber double match winning it in super tie break.

Sumit Nagal played qualies at big ATP 1000 at Monte Carlo but unfortunately lost in straight sets against top 70 player Italian Stepfano Travaglia.
