Prajnesh Gunneswaran – Finalist, Atlantic Tire Championships

After a great start in the first set, Indian No. 2 Prajnesh Gunneswaran lost the steam to lose out in a 3-setter to the No. 1 seed Denis Kudla of USA with a scoreline of 63 36 06 at the ATP Challenger Atlantic Tire Championships in Cary, North Carolina. This capped off a great week for Prajnesh who had scored wins over the likes of former top-10 player Jack Sock and former World No. 21 Thomaz Bellucci in the earlier rounds.

The Indian No. 2 will rise up to a ranking of World No. 137 in the newly released rankings. Prajnesh will play next at the ATP Challenger in Orlando, Florida scheduled for this week.
