Our players did not have a good run at the challenger level this week as our top 3 singles players lost in first round of their respective challenger. That after Ramkumar missed 3 match points in his match and Prajnesh had won the first set in his match.  Not much success in doubles too there.

At Marbella Challenger 80,Spain (Clay)

Our doubles pairs Ramkumar- Purav Raja and Balaji with his partner Margaroli lost early. Ramkumar and Purav are not having a good run since getting back together on the circuit in last 3 weeks.

ATP tour

Divij and Rohan with their respective partners played at new ATP tournament in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Divij won a round before losing in the quarter finals while Rohan lost in first round.

ITF Tour
Ankita Raina qualified thru to main draw of $80K ITF tournament in Tyler, Texas but lost in first round of main draw against the 4th seed.

Big success story was Rutuja Bhosale who was playing her first tournament since Fed Cup in March in Sharm El Sheikh. She won the title there losing only 1 set on the way. This is Rutuja’s third ITF title after winning 2 titles in 2017.
