There were a few others like our womens no. 1 Ankita Raina and promising Sasi Kumar Mukund who played on ITF circuit but lost early.
The Indian no.1 and top-seeded, Ankita Raina (IND, 166) bowed out in the second qualifying round vs Elsa Jaquemot (FRA, 658) to jr. top 10 with a scoreline of 2-6 1-6. Ankita had previously defeated Tayisiya Morderger (GER, 545) in the first qualifying round with a scoreline of 6-4 6-0. Mukund lost to former jr. top 5 American and 2019 Junior Roland Garros finalist.
