WTA Taipei: Prarthana Thombare and Naiktha Bains off to winning start

Indian doubles specialist Prarthana Thombare got off to a great start in Taipei by winning in straight sets to move into the quarters of the WTA OEC Open with her partner Isabella Shinikova over Jasmin Jebawy / Alexandra Riley.with a score line of 75 63.

Meanwhile Naiktha Bains, the British-Indian player, scored a good upset win over the higher ranked Arina Rodionova of Australia 63 67 75 to move into R16 of the WTA $125K OEC Open in singles. Naiktha also scored a straight sets win to move into the quarters in doubles!
