Bhubaneswar : The Season 3 of OTPL-Odisha Tennis Premier League is going to be organized by Neelachal Sports Foundation from 04th to 08th December 2019 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This league is supported by Professional Tennis Registry, USA, All India Tennis Association and Odisha Tennis Association.

In a special programme organized at Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, the trophy of OTPL was unveiled and Mr. Sumit Nagal, former Wimbledon Junior Champion & Grand Slam Player, Mr. Sabyasachi Mishra, famous Ollywood actor were announced as Brand Ambassadors of the league. Among others Mr. Akshaya Parija, Odia Film Maker, Mr. Dilip Mohanty, Managing Trustee of Neelachal Sports Foundation and owners and players of various teams were present.

In the present season 8 teams will participate having 4 players in each team. In total, 32 International, National and State players will be seen in action.

The Match format will be: Match 1: Men’s Singles, Match 2: Women’s Singles, Match 3: Men’s Doubles, Match 4: Mixed Doubles, Match 4: Men’s Singles.

Managing Trustee of Neelachal Sports Foundation is Mr. Dilip Mohanty who is an International Senior Tennis Player & Coach having coaching experience of more than 20 years in various positions at National Associations, Tennis Academies and clubs. He is also a Managing Director of PTR Tennis India and Certified International Clinician of PTR, USA (PTR is largest recognized tennis coaching university in 125 countries and in charge of training and testing). Mr. Mohanty was also awarded Coach of the Year Award by PTR, USA in 2012.

Mr. Mohanty has worked as a National Coach of Hong Kong in the year 2010-2012 where his duties included: – Training tennis to National Academy students which includes Davis cuppers and top juniors of the country. During his tenure in HKTA he was appoint as a hitting partner for Hong Kong Tennis Classic 2011 to play with John Mcenroe, Stefan Edberg, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki.
