ATP BMW Open in Munich – Qualification rounds

[Q1] Prajnesh Gunneswaran (IND, 75) d Alexander Erler (AUT, 615) 3-6 7-6 (5) 7-5

A strong start from Prajnesh to break into a 2-0 lead!

The tide turns, the set becomes equal again and Prajnesh starts feeling the heat on his service games

The Austrian gets into the zone and started playing some of his best tennis!

Alexander Erler wins the set 63 ๐Ÿ™

Its the second set, Prajnesh digs in deep, reduces the errors, makes more returns on the opponent first serves but still has to earn most of his service points

Onto the business end of the set and this is where Prajnesh’s fighting qualities combined by a bit of well deserved stroke of luck – ensures Prajnesh is still in it!

Onto the final set and unfortunately it is still a cliff-hanger!

After a couple of exchange of serves at the business end of the set, Prajnesh breaks once more to clinch a close tie! A match that Prajnesh just barely scraped through!
