On the third day of the $15,000 International Men’s Tournament, sponsored by Round Glass and organized by the Gwalior Chambal Tennis Association and the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, the singles pre-quarterfinal and doubles quarterfinal matches were played.
Top seed Aryan Shah continued his winning streak, defeating Adrian Arcon 6-2, 6-4.
After defeating the second seed yesterday, Arjun Rathi suffered a tough loss against Man Keserwani, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Raghav, who qualified for the tournament from Madhya Pradesh, defeated Dimitri Baisonov in a hard-fought match 6-2, 6-4.
Tournament Director Vikas Pandey provided further details, stating that in other matches, Grigory Lomakin defeated Sarthak Sudan 6-3, 6-3, Digvijay Pratap Singh defeated Makar Krivoshkov 6-3, 7-5, Nitin Kumar Sinha defeated Manish Suresh Kumar 6-2, 6-4. Rohan Mehra defeated Hitesh Chauhan 6-4, 6-2. Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugam defeated Ivan Utkin 6-3, 2-6, 6-3.
In the doubles quarterfinal matches:
The pair of Aryan/Atharva defeated the pair of Parth/Udit 6-3, 6-1,
The Ishak/Grigory pair defeated the Vivan/Ashravya pair 6-3, 6-1, the Aditya/Man
pair defeated the Madhavin/Ajay pair 7-5, 6-2, and in the last quarterfinal match, the Aryan/Manish pair defeated the Raghav/Makar pair 7-5, 6-0.
Tomorrow, the singles quarterfinal matches and the doubles semi-final matches will be played. The matches will start at 9:00 AM.
