Indian tennis prodigy Manas Dhamne is set to take a big leap in his professional career as he gears up for the qualifying rounds of the prestigious Madrid Masters — an ATP Masters 1000 event on clay. Managed by global sports agency IMG, Dhamne will be competing among some of the top rising and established names in world tennis. Dhamne received a qualifying wildcard.

At just 16, Dhamne is currently ranked No. 775 on the ATP Tour and holds the distinction of being the fifth-highest-ranked Under-18 player globally, according to the latest ATP rankings. The qualifying rounds begin on Monday, with Dhamne’s first-round opponent yet to be announced.

This marks a significant milestone in the youngster’s journey, as he continues to make waves on the international circuit with a growing presence and impressive potential.
