GRODZISK MAZOWIECKI, Poland – Sixteen-year-old Indian tennis player Manas Dhamne secured a win in the second qualifying round of the ITF M15 tournament held at the Akademia Tenisowa Tenis Kozerki.
Dhamne, who trains at the Piatti Tennis Center in Bordighera, Italy, defeated Poland’s Dorian Juszczak 7-5, 6-4. The young Indian displayed a solid performance, utilizing his court coverage and groundstrokes to overcome his opponent.
This victory marks a positive return for Dhamne after having to retire from his previous match at the ATP Challenger event in Francavilla due to a fall.
Dhamne now faces Switzerland’s Tanguy Genier in the final qualifying round. A win would secure his place in the tournament’s main draw.
