India’s Doubles No.2 Yuki Bhambri continues his impressive run at the Dubai Open, booking his place in the semi-finals. This is Bhambri’s first semi-final at the ATP 500 level.

Bhambri and partner Robin Haase, who had entered the main draw after winning two matches in qualifying, battled through another tough match today, upsetting the formidable duo of Jamie Murray and Michael Venus 6-4, 7-6(1). The Indo-Dutch duo will take on 2nd seeds Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the semi-final on Friday.

Bopanna’s Dubai Journey Ends with Surprise Loss

However, it was the end of the road for the world no.1 team of Rohan Bopanna and Matt Ebden, as they endured a surprise loss to the team of Ariel Behar and Adam Pavlasek, losing 6-3, 3-6, 8-10.

Bopanna and Ebden were leading 8-6 in the final set tiebreak, but lost four points in a row to lose the match.
