It is an appreciable initiative. For last 29 years, I used to search news papers, websites, google etc to know the update about our tennis players. Even now, it is not very easy to look for latest information about each individual players. Indian tennis daily has filled the vacuum by provided latest information quickly.

I ran into your website accidentally today as I was trying to find out the tennis draw for the Asian games. Although a trifle disappointed not to find it (understandable as you are not in Indonesia), I spent almost an hour going through some of your match reports/interviews/articles and must compliment you for the quality. Particularly interesting was the two-part interview with Yuki Bhambri’s coach. I must, however, also express my disappointment at not finding a word on what’s going on with Yuki Bhambri. He has withdrawn from several tournaments he had entered, the last one being the one in Winston Salem. Does he plan on landing up for the U.S. open without any match play after the first-round Wimbledon loss? That would be such a pity. Or is he going to withdraw from the U.S. open too?

The followers of tennis know much about AITA, ITF etc but we know a little about ATP. How to send entries to ATP tournaments? whether a player has to become ATP member? It seems that IPIN doesn’t work. We could not find proper information. Can your esteemed website highlight these aspects? The new comers and parents will be very happy to know. pl. look into. -Dr v m kalamse.

In your Instagram post, you mention that Prajnesh Gunneswaran, in case he wins the Pune challenger tomorrow, could break into the top 100 for the first time in his career. Unfortunately that is not true. A win tomorrow would mean he will occupy the #102 position and slip to 103 in the December 3 rankings, in case he doesn’t defend the 15 points he earned last year by entering the Indonesian Futures final, and to #108 if he loses tomorrow. A win tomorrow may just be enough (at # 103) to get him direct entry into the AO main draw.

That is a wonderful job you are doing. Hope Our indian players will get sponsorship from big companies one day because of this. will be happy to be part of the volunteer group.
