NEW DELHI (August 12, 2026) — The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has officially unveiled the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-12 squads set to represent India at the upcoming World Tennis Asia 12&U Team Competition Finals. The prestigious continental event is scheduled to take place in Singapore from September 15 to 20, 2026.
The AITA Junior Selection Committee finalized the rosters based on the current AITA Under-12 national rankings, ensuring the country’s top-performing young talents are front and center on the Asian stage.
Dominant Qualification Run
Both Indian squads secured their tickets to the Finals in Singapore following dominant, undefeated campaigns at the South Asia Regional Qualifying Event held in Kathmandu, Nepal, earlier this year in April.
- The Boys’ Team punched their ticket by delivering a decisive 3-0 sweep over Pakistan in the regional final.
- The Girls’ Team mirrored that success, clinching their spot with an equally commanding 3-0 victory over Sri Lanka.
Now, the selected squads will look to build on their successful regional campaigns as they prepare to take on the continent’s best young players.
