Pune, December 5, 2025 – Indian talent took center stage at the Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Grade 3 Junior Tennis Championships, with Gautam Venkatraman crowned the Boys Singles Champion at the Deccan Gymkhana.
The 17-year-old Indian sensation, Gautam S. Venkatraman (born 25-12-2007), continued his dominant run, securing the title after a tough two-hour battle in the all-Indian final. This victory marks a significant milestone as it concludes his illustrious junior career on a triumphant note. Gautam defeated fellow countryman and third seed Samarth Sahita 6-2, 7-6(3).
In the Girls Singles event, India’s second seed, Diya Ramesh, showcased her emerging talent by reaching her second final in as many weeks. The 16-year-old put up a spirited fight but ultimately fell to top seed Albina Kakenova of Kazakhstan, 6-2, 6-0.
