Ahmedabad, India – Indian tennis players Vaishnavi Adkar and Ankita Raina have secured the doubles runners-up position at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) W50 Ahmedabad tournament.
Adkar and Raina showcased impressive teamwork and skill throughout the tournament, battling their way to the final. In a thrilling and closely contested doubles final, they faced a formidable challenge from the Japanese team of Akiko Omae and Ikumi Yamazaki.
The final match saw a captivating display of tennis, with both teams demonstrating exceptional talent and determination. Adkar and Raina fought valiantly, but ultimately, Omae and Yamazaki emerged victorious with a scoreline of 2-6, 6-2, 7-10.
