EDINBURGH, Scotland – Aadya Iyer Chadalawada, a 15-year-old Scottish tennis player of Indian descent, partnered with Anna McKnight to win the doubles title at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Juniors J30 Lexus Junior Internationals event in Edinburgh.
This victory marks a significant milestone in Aadya’s budding career, which began with her ITF Junior tour debut at the Juniors 30 event in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, last year.
Aadya, who is coached by Karen Lamb, displayed exceptional skill and teamwork alongside McKnight throughout the tournament.
Young Aadya`s mother Uma Iyer is a certified coach herself.
The young duo’s success highlights the growing talent in Scottish junior tennis and the increasing diversity within the sport.
