Rethin Pranav, the top-ranked junior tennis player in India, has been officially welcomed into the Tamil Nadu Tennis Association’s (TNTA) prestigious player development programme, ‘The Next Level’.
Rethin’s inclusion in the programme follows his outstanding performance in a series of four world ranking events in Europe, where he reached two singles and two doubles finals. The TNTA’s support through ‘The Next Level’ enabled Rethin’s participation in these events, further showcasing the programme’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
Previously training at the Rohan Bopanna academy in Bengaluru, Rethin will now relocate his training base to the TNTA in Chennai. He will be mentored by former Indian tennis star Somdev Devvarman and TNTA’s player development director Rajeev Vijaykumar.
Rethin’s next immediate goal is to qualify for the Junior US Open, where he aims to continue his impressive run of form. The TNTA and the entire Indian tennis community eagerly anticipate his continued success on the international stage.
