Koszalin, Poland (June 20, 2024) – Rising Indian tennis star Manas Dhamne, 16, was defeated in the second round of the ITF M15 Toyota Airpress Twin Series Open in Koszalin, Poland today. Dhamne, who has been competing in Poland for three consecutive weeks, lost to Sebastian Sorger of Austria in a hard-fought three-set match, 3-6, 6-4, 3-6.
Sorger, currently ranked 706 in the ATP rankings, proved to be a formidable opponent for the young Indian talent. Despite a strong second-set performance to level the match, Dhamne was ultimately unable to overcome Sorger’s experience and consistency in the decider.
