Two pairs with Indian representation made it to the quarter-final stage at the ATP 500 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships being played in Dubai, UAE.
Yuki Bhambri, partnering Robin Haase from The Netherlands, beat the strong duo of Alexander Bublik and Adrian Mannarino 6-7(6), 6-3, 10-8, while Rohan Bopanna combined with Matthew Ebden to beat wildcards Skander Mansouri and Aisam Qureshi 7-6(4) 7-6(5) in a close match.
While it’s known that Bopanna/Ebden will take on Behar/Pavlasek next, Bhambri/Haase are still awaiting the winner of the match between Gill/Vliegen and J.Murray/Venus.
