Doubles World No.1 Rohan Bopanna and Indian No.1 Sumit Nagal will fly the Indian flag at the prestigious BNP Paribas Open (aka Indian Wells Masters) starting March 3 in Indian Wells, California, USA. While Bopanna and partner Matt Ebden will be the top seeds in doubles, Nagal will compete in the singles qualifying as the provisional 18th seed.
Nagal, who recently cracked the Top 100 ranking, will have to win 2 rounds to qualify for the main draw. Other prominent names in the qualifying draw include Fabio Fognini, Roberto Bautista Agut, Benoit Paire, and David Goffin, among others.

Bopanna and Ebden, who won the title here last year, are the defending champions and will look to replicate their run from last year. The pair had earlier won the Australian Open this year as well. The doubles field interestingly has a lot of top singles stars slated to take part, including – Jannik Sinner, Andrey Rublev, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, and many others.
