The doubles final at the ITF M25 New Delhi was a thrilling match that saw Francis Casey Alcantara from the Philippines and Pruchya Isaro from Thailand take on the Indian pair of Parikshit Somani and Manish Sureshkumar. In the end, Alcantara and Isaro proved to be too strong for the Indian pair, winning 6-2, 6-4. Alcantara and Isaro were in fine form throughout the match, displaying great teamwork and a strong understanding of each other’s game. They dominated the first set, winning it 6-2, and looked set to cruise to victory in the second set as well.

However, Somani and Sureshkumar fought back strongly in the second set, taking an early lead of 4-1. But just when it looked like the Indian pair might stage a comeback, a brief rain interruption seemed to break their momentum. Alcantara and Isaro quickly took advantage of the situation, winning the next five games in a row to close out the match.

Following the match, Somani spoke to Indian Tennis Daily about his experience playing in the final and his struggles with chronic illness. Somani talked about the challenges he faced in the match, his struggle with chronic illness and how it has affected his training and tennis career. He also had some nice things to say about his fellow players Purav Raja and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan.
